The original  name of our  school was "Private Jemg-Chih Senior High School", located at GangShan township, Kaohsiung County.      In 1977, the school name was changed to "Fo Guang Shan Private Pu-Men Senior High School", had movedinto Fo Guang Shan Temple at DaShu township ,Kaohsiung County.                

The  school then converted officially to  " Kaohsiung County Private-Operated

Pu-Men Senior High School"  on August , 1977. Their are only 35 students at initial stage in school. After 30 yaers, there are more than 1000 . According to developing ,  the school had established  in the new region at Dakeng Rd. near the FO GUANG SHAN in 2007.
